I grew up in small towns—places that teach you early that everyone’s story matters, whether they lead a company, run a local business, or contribute quietly behind the scenes.
That has stayed with me through twenty years leading HR and people strategy inside some of Canada’s largest financial institutions—work that put me in the room for mergers, restructurings, and the kind of change that tests whether an organization’s people and its strategy still fit together.
Along the way, I studied not only business but anthropology: learning to notice the assumptions that shape how we see the world. That lens shapes how I coach, whether you want to grow as a leader, consider what comes next, or work out where to begin.
